Student Testimonials

I like making and building things because it helps me remember what it is and when I think about that topic I always remember what I made like when we made the orthocenter.  I can remember what I made like when we made the orthocenter.  - Mercedes B.

I think that the most interesting of our projects was the human triangle with string.  It was in my opinion, the most visual of all the projects and that is how I like to learn. - Kevin W.

I did a very good job understanding the four points of concurrency because we made cut-out activities.  I can pay attention only when I am not bored or confused, and when I have something to look at, it is so much easier to understand.  - Brittany L.

The activities that help(ed) me out alot are the partner quizzes, keynote notes, & Qwizdom review games.  Partner quizzes let me see how other people are attempting to do the problem and I can learn.  Keynote notes always help because the teacher gives us notes and examples, so I can always look back at my notes.  Qwizdom games make it fun to review and we also get feedback right away, so we can know what we did wrong. - Chelsie D.

The best thing I liked about this class was the ABC project.  I learned more about the chapter making pictures & writing the definitions.  - Kevyn D.

I think I learn best on Partner worksheets and quizzes.  I can work together with my partner to find the correct answer.  It’s interesting to compare answers if we do a problem separately.  I learn from my mistakes, by having my partner correct me and explain to me how to solve a certain problem.  It also helps me with improving my communication skills. - Ashley M.

I liked the models the best because it was a hands on project.  It was fun to be artistic and crazy with the balloons and pipe cleaners. - Shelby M.

In this math class we do many things.  The one thing that I like to do the most is using the qwizdom to play games and review. - Alex F.

My favorite Geometry activity this semester was the Whose Line Is It Anyway Project.  I enjoyed this project because we were able to be creative and draw a picture that represents us and there is also math involved. - Karen L.

I think the rotating stations helped me the most.  Because of the moving, I stayed focused.  Also we reviewed after we were done, so I knew I understood it. - Macy S.

I love teaching people things I am good at, like expert activities. - Kjiesta G.
